Why We Started
For Muslim families living in the West and across the world, finding a qualified, reliable Quran teacher nearby can be a real struggle. Busy schedules, long commutes, and a shortage of qualified tutors mean many children — and adults — never get the consistent Quran education they deserve.
Learn Quran Better was founded to solve exactly that. We connect students with certified Quran tutors for live one-on-one classes over Zoom and Google Meet, at times that fit each family’s schedule and timezone. Whether your child is starting with the alphabet or you’re an adult perfecting Tajweed, we build a personal learning plan and walk the journey with you.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” (Sahih al-Bukhari). That hadith is the heart of everything we do.

Every tutor at Learn Quran Better holds an Ijazah and/or a degree in Quranic sciences, speaks fluent English, and passes a rigorous recitation and teaching assessment before joining. We have both male and female tutors, so every family can learn in the setting they’re most comfortable with.
More importantly, our tutors love teaching. They know how to keep a six-year-old engaged for a full class and how to coach a working professional through the subtleties of Tajweed.
