Online Quran Classes in Ireland

Ireland's Muslim community is small and widely scattered, and outside Dublin there is often no Quran teaching available locally at all. These one-to-one online classes give families in Cork, Galway, Limerick and rural counties the same access as families in Clonskeagh.

Timezones we teach in

You give us your city and your preferred local time — we handle the conversion, and your class stays at the same local time all year.

When Ireland families usually book

After school — 3:30–6:00 pm

The most requested window for primary and secondary students.

Early evening — 6:30–8:30 pm

Suits families where both parents work.

After Isha — 9:00–11:00 pm

Note that Isha runs very late in the Irish summer — adults often prefer an earlier evening slot from May to August.

Weekends — all day

Full Saturday and Sunday availability.

Outside Dublin, there is often nothing

Ireland's Muslim population is concentrated heavily in Dublin, with smaller established communities in Cork, Galway and Limerick. Families elsewhere — and there are many, spread thinly across every county — frequently have no masjid within a reasonable drive, let alone a qualified Quran teacher.

For those families the realistic choice has been a parent teaching what they can remember, or nothing. Online classes replace that with an Ijazah-certified tutor and a structured programme, which for a family in Leitrim or Kerry is a genuinely different proposition rather than a marginal convenience.

For a young and growing community

Ireland's Muslim community is unusually young by European standards, and much of it arrived recently. That produces a specific situation: a lot of primary-school-age children, a lot of parents working long hours to establish themselves, and comparatively little established infrastructure to lean on.

Evening and weekend slots are built around that reality. A parent working shifts can put a child in a 4:00 pm class without needing to be home, since the class runs itself — and progress updates arrive monthly so you know exactly where things stand without having to attend.

Fitting the Irish school day

Irish primary schools generally finish in the early afternoon and secondary schools somewhat later, which opens a wider after-school window than in many countries. Slots from 3:30 pm onwards are readily available.

The school year is scheduled around directly, including the mid-term breaks in October and February and the long June–August summer. Many families step up to four or five classes a week over the summer.

Long summer evenings and Isha

At Ireland's latitude Isha falls very late in high summer — after 11:00 pm in June — which makes an after-Isha class impractical for most of the year's brightest months.

It is worth planning for rather than discovering in May. Most Irish adult students keep an early-evening slot year-round for this reason, and we will flag it when you book if your preferred time is going to become unworkable in summer.

We teach families in these areas and everywhere in between — because classes are online, being far from a city makes no difference to the tutor you get.
